Deciding whether or not to make the decision to euthanize can be very difficult.  It is made even more difficult by trying to decide on the right time.  We all want to find the perfect balance between not too soon and not too late.  We understand that everyone struggles with making such difficult decisions and want to help you do that.

We also feel that for some pets having to go to the veterinary hospital for euthanasia may cause increased stress or discomfort. We are happy to provide in-home euthanasia or help with palliated natural passing.

Dr Croom will take your pet for cremation services or you can arrange for Angel Wings or Family Pet Mortuary to pick up at your home following the home euthanasia visit.  

PLEASE NOTE:  this is not an emergency euthanasia service. Planning ahead is very much appreciated. We do all that we can to accommodate your needs however, Dr. Croom is not always available on short notice.  Also please check the Hours page, under About Us, for dates that Dr. Croom will be out of town.

PRICING:

Home Euthanasia Visit  $400

Includes phone consult to assess Quality of Life issues, mobile fee, sedation, gentle euthanasia, fur clipping/clay paw print if desired and grief support material.

$100 additional fee for 5:30pm and after / Sundays / Holidays

Additional fees may apply for animals greater than 99lbs, extended travel and aggressive pets. 

Communal Cremation:

For families that do not wish to have their pet’s ashes returned or to bury their pets.

Your pet will be respectfully cremated with other pets and their ashes respectfully spread at sea by Oceans of Love

Pets 75 lbs and less  -  $200

Pets over 75 lbs  -  $300

Private Cremation:

For families that wish their pets cremated individually and ashes returned in an engraved urn, scatter tube, or satin bag 

A clay paw print will be included unless requested not to have one

Remains will be mailed (for an additional $35) or can be picked up at Ripon Veterinary Hospital in Ripon, CA. 209-599-6153

Pets 75 lbs and less  -  $400

Pets over 75 lbs  -  $475
